Thank you for stopping by.

If you've discovered this page, there's a good chance you've already seen one of my paintings, perhaps in the clinic, at a local exhibition, or shared by someone you know.

Painting has become a way for me to explore ideas that are often difficult to express in words. Rather than trying to create perfect representations, I'm interested in capturing something deeper: emotion, curiosity, and the stories we each bring to what we see.

My hope is never to tell you what a painting should mean.

Instead, I hope it invites you to discover what it means to you.

Why I Paint

For many years, photography was my creative outlet.

Eventually, I realized it had limitations. A camera captures what is in front of you.

Painting offers something different.

It allows imagination to become part of the story.

Many of my portraits are intentionally expressive rather than realistic. They explore colour, movement, and emotion, allowing each viewer to find their own connection.

As I often say,

"A painting either speaks to you or it doesn't."

Nothing excessive, just an occasional note when there's something worth sharing.

"Everybody interprets the painting in their own way."
